I am employed at Pottstown Borough as Fire Chief providing administrative and suppression command, life safety inspections, fire scene investigations and public safety education. I have been an EMT/past paramedic since 1976 and a volunteer firefighter in Haverford Township since January 1974 holding various administrative and operational positions. I have a certification fro The Mays School of Business fro the University of Texas A&M as a Fire Service Cheif Executive Officer and a double degree from the Delaware County Community College in Emergency Management and the Fire Sciences. Active with Safe Kids in childhood injury prevention and as a Child Safety Seat Technician. Hold numerous fire certifications including Fire Officer IV, Fire Instructor III, and Certified Fire Investigator Technician through the IAAI. Serve on several fires and emergency service boards including as President of Delaware Valley Fire Chiefs, 2nd Vice President Chapter 6 Fire Marshals Association of the Delaware Valley, and Representative to Pa. State Wide Advisory Board, a director on the PAAI board. I am currently 2nd Vice President of the Eastern Division of the IAFC.
