Chief LeDuc, MS, CFO, CEM, FIFirE, is a 26 year veteran of the Broward County (FL) fire service and currently serves as Assistant Fire Chief of 750 person career internationally accredited department in the 18 most populous County in the U.S. He is serving his fourth term on the International Association of Fire Chief's Safety, Health & Survival Section Board of Directors and is currently Secretary. He holds a master degree in executive fire service leadership, is credentialed as a Chief Fire Officer and Certified Emergency Manager and has earned Fellow status in the Institute of Fire Engineers. He is a peer reviewer for both professional credentialing and agency accreditation with the Center for Public Safety Excellence (CPSE). He has also conducted department evaluations in over 15 States as a senior consultant for Emergency Services Consulting International. He speakes and writes frequently on topics of fire service importance and has authored or co-authored 13 million dollars in fire service grant funding.
