Dan has been involved with Emergency Services for approximately ten years. He holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration with and emphasis on Emergency Management from Sam Houston State University, a Bachelors Degree in Emergency Management Administration from West Texas A&M University, and an Associates Degree in Fire Protection Technologies from Austin Community College. He has responded to several disasters, including Hurricane Harvey and the Memorial Day floods of 2015 that struck Wimberley, Texas. He currently works as the Fire Chief and Emergency Management Coordinator fort the City of Windcrest, Texas. He holds several certifications from the Federal Emergency Management Administration, Department of Homeland Security, International Fire Service Accreditation Congress, the Texas Department of State Health Services, and the Texas Commission on Fire Protection.
