Bio

Kingman Schuldt is a 43-year fire service veteran.  In 2021 Kingman retired from the Greater Naples Fire Rescue District in Collier County, FL where he served as Fire Chief and Administrator since 2012.  The Fire District is the largest special purpose fire district in the state.

Kingman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Barry University, Associate of Science degree in Fire Science Technology from Broward College, a graduate of the Weldon Cooper Center for Public Services LEAD program at the University of Virginia and the Florida Fire and Emergency Services Foundation Emergency Services Leadership Institute. In 2005 Chief Schuldt received designated as Chief Fire Officer from the Center of Public Safety Excellence.

Kingman served as President of the Southeastern Association of Fire Chiefs’, Florida Fire Chiefs Association,  and the Collier County Fire and EMS Chiefs Association.  He also served on the Board of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, NFPA Florida Sprinkler Coalition, and Florida EMS Advisory Council.

Kingman has previously served as a Technical Advisor to the International Association of Fire Chiefs’ Intrastate Mutual Aid System, Vice-Chair for the Florida Statewide Emergency Response Committee, and the Florida DoH EMS Advisory Council Disaster Response Committee.

Kingman currently serves on staff with the Florida Division of State Fire Marshal's Office and a Senior Leadership Consultant with Tenzinga Consulting, specializing in organizational performance management.  He is owner and managing member of Emergency Services Management Group, LLC, a consulting group that focusses on career advancement coaching.

In July of 2013 Kingman was recognized by his colleagues as the Florida Fire Chiefs’ Association Fire Chief of the Year, and in 2014 as the Florida State Fire Chief of the Year.
