I am 50 years old. I have a wonderful wife of sixteen years, and a son fifteen years old. I worked for the City of Alhambra for 27 years. I have served as the Fire Chief of North County Regional Fire Authority in Snohomish WA for two years. I have achieved my M.S.- Emergency Services, B.S. in Vocational Studies from California State University- Long Beach. I completed the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer Program. I am Chief Fire Officer Accredited through Center for Public Safety Excellence and the Institution of Fire Engineers- MiFIREe.
I am honored to volunteer as one of fifteen Board of Directors for the Firefighters First Credit Union for the past seven years helping to provide firefighters from the State of California with the most sound financial institution and options available. I was honored to serve the California Fire Chief's Association, Training Officers as the Past President 2011, and Finance Section Chief for the Annual Symposium. I am Past President of Foothill Training Officer's Association 2009-2011. I was privileged to voluinteer on the Mission Focus Alignment Group with California State Fire Training with a very progressive group moving CA Fire Training into a National Certification Process.
Current goals for the future are to complete my final ARP, focus and balance family with work, and begin to search for the next position in the fire service career structure while maintaining current projects and commitments.
