Asst. Fire Chief - Wilmington Fire Dept., NC 2001 to present. Responsible for the fire and life safety division until June 2009. Served as the operations division chief until July 2012 and now assigned to the administrative services division. Currently serving on the Vision 20/20 (www.strategicfire.org) Strategy #3 Committee to "Raise the Importance of Fire Prevention within the Fire Service." Served two years as president of the North Carolina Fire Marshal's Association in 2007 and 2008.
